Eadweard Muybridge (nee Edward James Muggeridge, b. 4-9-1830, England; d. 5-8-1904) Animals in Motion and Animal Locomotion photographic studies reproduced in posters and prints. Eadweard Muybridge was a British born photographer who developed a way to capture the motion of a galloping horse with a series of cameras, an electrical trigger, and chemical processing. His research lead to the development of motion pictures. |
