Carnaval is a solo piano work by Robert Alexander Schumann in four parts representing masked revelers at Carnival, a festival before Lent. Schumann wrote the pieces as a cryptograms with a series of musical notes that spell Asch, which signifies the German word Fasching or carnival. They also contain the letters in the composers name.

Sergei Diaghilev choreographed a ballet to Carnaval in 1910.
