Guitarist Carlos Montoya founded the popular modern day style of Spanish Flamenco music. He toured the world giving concerts, often with flamenco dancer Antonia Mercé y Luque, known as “La Argentina”.

FYI - The word “Flamenco” has linked to the word “gypsy” and to the Arabic Word “fellahmengu” meaning “expelled peasant”.
