FYI ~ the name title of Elgar's most famous compositions, the Pomp and Circumstances Marches are from Act III, Scene III of Shakespeare's Othello, ‘Pride, pomp, and circumstance of glorious war!’ March No. 1 was dedicated to the Liverpool Orchestral Society and is more commonly known as “The Graduation March.”
